The speculation regarding WWE women's tag team titles has been a huge talking point throughout 2018 and now, Vince McMahon himself has officially confirmed that the championships will be introduced in 2019.

On RAW, Vince McMahon dropped the exciting news during a segment where he was dressed as good Ole’ Saint Nick himself. The Chairman revealed that tag team titles for the women’s division will be coming in 2019, but no other details were given.


Going back to September/October, the speculation regarding the company introducing the women’s tag team titles continued to grow throughout the weeks.

Sasha Banks even name dropped the tag team championships on a RAW segment recently, confirming that the company will be introducing tag belts for the women soon.

This is definitely great news for the women's division as many have been spinning their wheels waiting for the tag team championships to arrive.
